Easy Faux Fur PomPom Gnome DIY
I think I have a little gnome competition at home. It seems my 15 year old daughter loves them a lot. She made her own copy by using a couple of Faux Fur pom pom that were laying around. They used to be her key-chains. So let’s make a faux fun long hat gnome diy shall we?
Items you need (not many at all)
- Faux-fur pompom
- Fabric (she used dish rag and napkin)
- Wooden Beads
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- floral wire
First measure “gnome head ” (that means top of faux fur pompom) and cut that long strip out of fabric of your choice . Hot glue both ends together.
Attach one side to the pompom. Insert wire twisted with pipe cleaners inside that long tube and hot glue it again folding fabric again in half. Hot glue wooden bead under the hat and it seems you are done.
I was a bit skeptical about that GNOME hat staying up but I was so wrong . Inserted wire into pompoms really holds it up nicely.
I am so proud of my daughter creativity! She really did an awesome job! Very resourceful! Don’t you think so? Long hat pom pom gnomes are ready
I can see that she tied my clay gift tags to the end of their hat. I love that idea!

I hate to be picky but I’m sure you will want to make sure you don’t make this same mistake again. You used the word “seam”, which is what you have when you see two pieces of fabric together, when you meant to use “seem”.
