How to make Tassel Gnome
Are you ready to make some gnomes? This project is the cutest little tassel you can have all year round at the display. I have made so many gnomes that you can see HERE . At the beginning I was so afraid to make its hat but now that part is my favorite. Learn how to make cute yarn gnome hat. Project that I like share today make awesome embellishment while gift wrapping that later can be turned into Christmas ornament or every day door charm or curtain pullback. Supplies needed to make tassel gnome
- yarn or your choice
- wooden bead
- paper towel roll
- embellishments of your choice

Let’s make a gnome tassel
Simple supplies are gathered so its time to make some gnome tassels
- 1 inch paper towel slice
- Strips of your yarn around 12 to 15 inches long
- 20 mm wooden bead
Learn how to make gnome hat out of yarn
Fold your yarn strips in half and weave them around your strip of paper towel to create nice loop. No hot glue needed . All will stay in place
Make sure that your loops are nice and even so pull them here and there to make sure
When your paper towel ring is covered with yarn all around grab your yarn and pull through paper towel to create cut gnome hat rim
Make sure all is nicely pulled through
Ok first portion of our yarn tassel gnome is done for now so its time to create its body. As you can see i grabbed my tapper ware lid to create cluster around 10 inches long for my gnome body.
Secure your yarn groupings with another piece of yarn as you would always do and lets thread some yarn over wooden bead to create Gnome nose . How easy is to make gnome tassel right
grab few strands on your previously made grouping and tie your wooden bead around it . You could glue that portion but I am trying my best to make one without hot glue
Grab your hat and thread your tassel you just made through hat rim and you can already see yarn tassel gnome forming beautifully
Now it is time to create cute hat top by simply tying all.
Little trim here and there and our yarn tassel gnome gift embellishment is taking its cute shape
