Dollar Tree Mini Fall Centerpiece – DIY
Happy Fall Y’ALL! Let’s make some fall centerpieces to celebrate! Even though it is still hot here I am officially ready to decorate for fall. I am going to start slowly. Few weeks ago I was lucky to find a wooden acorns at the Dollar Tree. I am going to turn them into little stands for my flowers that hopefully can last till Christmas.
Staining acorns was ” no brainer” for me. I want my fall arrangements to shine. Walnut water base stain is my all time favorite.
Staining process is really easy… You can use a rag and wipe it or like me use foam brush to get into all corners of our acorn. Let it dry for 10 min completely.
As my mini fall centerpiece were drying I decided to dress up my little white pumpkins with some leaves and flowers. Hot glue them for 3 D look or Mod- Podge them to the top of your pumpkin.
Pick a small bunch of your favorite fall flowers from your garden , some ornamental grass and you are done. If your flowers are difficult you can use florist foam inside your centerpiece stand.
Little bit of Spanish moss to fill the sides of our acorn centerpiece makes it all come together
I can’t wait to keep my acorn centerpiece look different every week!
