Crepe Paper English Rose DIY

Are you ready to have fun with me and some crepe paper? If you follow me for some time you know I love to make flowers. I love to make flowers out of different materials … Made them out fabric, burlap, yarn or twine and even out of simple copier paper. Today I would like to show you my way to make English Rose diy out of crepe paper. Don’t you just love good paper craft? I know I do

Items you need to make English Rose DIY

Let the fun begin paper crafting

Cut your crepe paper into 2 different sizes. You will need 20 strips for the rose heart in the size of 1″x 2″ and 20 to 24 strips for the outer shell 1.5″x 3″ That all depends on how full you like your rose to be

Fold each strip into half and slightly round it off

Now it is time to form a shape of each petal. It is super fun and rewarding process

Sort your small crepe paper pieces into groupings of 4 and let’s begin our assembly proces. Hot glue each sets together

Rose assembly steps

When you are done with your rose heart groupings it is time to work with wire. Cut up a small piece of crepe paper into a fringe and attach it to your wire so we can start to form our English rose

Add your crepe paper clusters and secure them with hot glue

love what I see already ….you know I love that special detail in any flower

Let’s put those bigger pieces of crepe paper to work and and layer them over our heart we just created in the overlapping manner . Make sure that your outer petals are installed on the same height as your rose heart is
