How to Make a Witch Hat-Easy DIY

I am not really a big fan of a scary Halloween Decorations so don’t expect anything creepy here but I still love Halloween! As I was going through our storage closet I found black SHOUT cone and thought it is a perfect base for a witch hat! So let’s do it ! it is simply perfect fall project to do with kids

There is really not many items you need to make one.

• cone..could be also a traffic cone
• ribbon
• some decor
• hot glue gun and glue sticks

Since my hat was black I really didn’t have paint but I wanted to remove a shine on it so chalk spray paint was my way to go

I am going to use two different kinds of ribbon. One to outline the bottom portion of witches hat and the other just for color

I began by hot gluing colorful ribbon loops to the corner of the cone’s bottom lip and then repeated the same steps with darker one .

Easy right! Just some ring spiders and some black gauze and I am done!

My daughter brought some witches legs and slipped under the hat …lol

So what do you think? I personally think it will be perfect centerpiece at your Halloween party! Perfect project to do with your child!
