Another DIY pumpkin coming your way today! No carve pumpkin. This one is going to be a the perfect mix of sweet & spooky! That is my way I like to decorate for Halloween! It would also be a perfect centerpiece for your Halloween table spread if you’re planning a get together this year. It takes just a few minutes to put together!
Things you need
- Pumpkin ( I used Dollar Tree )
- Black Chalk Paint
- Artificial Floral leaves/ buds – your choice
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue sticks
Instructions couldn’t be easier. Paint your pumpkin at least 2 coats to cover original color.
As you waiting for your pumpkin to dry I spray painted GOLD (to my surprise since I am not really a fan of that color) my artificial hydrangea flower. It may take couple of coats too to get that gold shimmer.
As I was hot gluing my flowers to the pumpkin I noticed that original stem wasn’t showing. It was simply to short. I had no choice and replace it with what I had in my craft box. ( Note to myself – pick a pumpkin with longer stem so you are not going to have go to plan B) It couldn’t be a stick from my yard as I like often to use . It has to be something sleek and smooth as my pumpkin. Thank Goodness for my craft box! I found something I can use this time, just need to paint it black like the rest of my pumpkin. It is still NO CARVE pumpkin DIY
and we are done! Have to admit I love it even with that last minute stem idea!
