Elegant Christmas Ornaments DIY
Crafting for me is such a great therapy after a long day at work. My brain is thinking Christmas …Elegant but easy Christmas Ornaments right now. I really don’t like to plan my projects in advance like I have to do them at work … I love to create them on the spot when crafting juices are flowing. Are you ready fro some Dollar Tree budget friendly Christmas ornament craft?
Couple weeks ago I had a plan do Mod-Podge some cute napkins on the clear glass ornament and it was a big fiasco so the project was dropped…ha ha ha
Today when I returned home from work that poor ornament was staring at me …. doest it happen to you too sometimes?
I knew it today this fiasco ornament will look awesome and very elegant! So let’s go to work !
Things you need to complete Elegant Easy Ornament
- Facial cleaning pads Rectangular ones
- old ornament or fiasco one like mine
- hot glue gun
- some ribbon
As you can see our supply list is really on the budget that I like a lot! Each rectangle has layers but for this project I separated each into 2 pieces as it is shown in the picture below
Directions are so easy. Pinch your rectangle in the middle on the smoother side and hot glue to the ornament
I was leaving around 2 inches between each pad and was trying to overlap them
Nice full bow will add a beautiful touch to our ornament. I used my simple FOLDED BOW for this project made out of laced ribbon
You can learn how to tie that bow in my uTube video below
Make sure to leave longer ends so they can serve as our ties
This Christmas ornament already looks awesome BUT couple of pearls will add even more of elegant detail. I added only 8 tiny pearls.
and I am done! What do you think ?
Sorry pictures are not the greatest but I was so excited to share that with you that couldn’t wait for better light.
