Supplies needed to make paper poinsettia flower

• book page or any paper you have
• red paint
• twine
• hot glue
• embellishments

Let’s make easy book page poinsettia flower

As with everything that I recently work on .. I am going to use my book page to make this easy Christmas craft. Just because it is Christmas we need to bring some pop of color. Love me some Santa Red !

I am going to make a double Poinsettia flower. You will need 2 book pages. I like to cut one down an inch or so ( as it shows in the picture below )… so it layers nicely later

Time to get to easy folds. Fold your book page on the long side evenly and fold again. See pictures for reference

Fold again to the middle crease on both sides . This fold will guarantee even folds later. You should have 4 folded parts (pict 1 below) Fold each part again alternatively in half to create accordion.

So now we have 8 parts . Fold them all together, hold folded side and make angle cut on open side as it shows below

Make sure that you create that spike cut as it shows. Unfold all and you should have 4 Christmas trees…lol

That is all for cuts! Time to fold one more time

fold each part to its crease in acordion mode as it shows below. It is so easy since you already have previous fold.

We are so close to finally see our poinsettia flower !!Are you excited ? As you can see I have 2 different sizes for my double book page poinsettia. At this point close your folds back up and fold it in half.

Secure your fold with jute and spread each each sides to see flower unfold

Dab of a glue on the edge will secure both ends together

One side of book page poinsettia flower is done so its time to repeat that on the other side

How cool is that ! You could just add a center now and leave it like that but I do want to sandwich both of them together to have some layers .Isn’t it easy Christmas craft ? Perfect holiday flower ornament
