Supplies needed to this awesome Valentines Flower Box
- coffee filter dyed to your favorite color
- box .. I bought mine at Dollar Tree
- ribbon
- napkins
Let’s make a flower box !
Grab your favorite shape of small box and your are good to go. I used paper mache box found at Dollar Tree for this project.
Box decoration is all up to your imagination or home decor colors you are after. I chose to decoupage on its side and paint a lid topped with big flower. Velvet bow on my box is my truly favorite little detail on this project.

So we took care of box so it is time to make some coffee filter roses. As you know coffee filters are coming in white so it’s time to dye them really quick. You can use water and acrylic paint change its color but make sure to check post HERE how to dye coffee filter easy

Time to make those easy coffee filter flowers to fill our box for the Valentines
How to make easy coffee filter rose
It is the easiest rose that you can make. Grab your dyed coffee filters and begin to cut a spiral. Continue that all the way into the center keeping roughly 1 inch away from the edge. As it shows on the pictures below . it truly is easy flower diy
Grab your strip from the beginning and begin to roll all back up until you reach the end . For this project i like to roll sort of tighter since my Valentines flower box is small
As you reach the end secure its last piece to the bottom of our flower with a bit of hot glue or tacky glue. YOur easy coffee filter rose is done! Repeat that process as many times you need to fill your box
Since my box was deep I decided to fill it with paper towels and then glue my freshly made roses deep enough that its edges were gently showing. To bring even more detail little moss accents will do
