Supplies needed to make book page angel
- book pages or hymnals
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- twine or ornament hook
How to make simple Book Page Angel ornament
There is not much you need to make that angel … only paper and glue . I love feel and charm of book pages so always go there. You can use colorful paper or even better decoupage on your book pages some napkins to bring some patterns. Sky is a limit here
- grab your 3 book pages and fold them into accordion . I like to keep my fold around 1 inch wide but as you make them you will choose your width .. you will be able to predict what you like the best.
- Make sure to start your folds on the shorter side of your book page
Christmas paper crafting
- open up one page and fold in half .
- Cut on the angle from a tip your page
That will create your angel body as you fold your accordion back
Second book page that you folded into accordion is going to be your wings. I like to fold that in half and install on top as you see in the picture here
Make sure to watch VIDEO below on the whole process
Love to surround myself with angels .. HERE is one of my very early angel wings I made out of coffee filters. Love to have those wings displayed on my fireplace year round in a decorative frame.
