Target Dollar Spot Tray Makeover
Do you love to shop at Target? What is your favorite departement to shop in ? My favorite one is dollar spot! There are sooo many cute things that you can adapt to your style! Love love love to get lost there! I always find something for myself. Today I like to share with you one of those makeovers. On my last trip to Target I picked contact paper with awesome pattern and couple particle board long oval trays. Are you ready for some easy tray makeover. Let’s learn together how to template contact paper in round surfaces easy? Let’s have fun with Target tray makeover. Perfect dollar spot find.
Love making trays! Love patterns and details too. This one is my all time favorite to use in bed! yup that is what I do .. Check all details HERE. It is stencils and some embosing to bring some more interest.

- tray
- contact paper
- liquid gold leaf
- parchment paper or wax paper
Let’s have fun with Target dollar spot tray
As you can see my board was made out of particle board so it was either painting it to look aged, decoupaging or simply using a contact paper that I also found at Target. Check that pattern! Isn’t gorgeous?
How to template your surface for application
In order for me to fit my contact paper from edge to edge I decided to use wax paper to outline inside of my tray. Grab your pencil, place your wax paper on the inside of your surface and gently sketch its shape. Cut out with scissors and make sure that fits good in the place you like to use.
It seems all is good so its time to cut my contact paper

Super excited about this tray. You know I always look for statement so its obvious I am going to use some of my liquid gold leaf to edge all out.
For some reason I was second guessing myself about they way i should go about it. Decided that removing paper from the shorter side first and applying paper in stages will reassure bubble free install
Remove backing paper as you go to make sure all is straight and bubble free
