Shabby Chic Pumpkin
Fall decor is my favorite! So rest assure I will be bringing lots of projects and lots of inspirations. If you follow me for some time you do know that I love details, love textures and mixing them is so much fun! Today I like to share fun fall project with some doilies. I have made this one last year with my friends on Facebook but thought it would be fun to leave a mark on my blog. Let’s make some easy shabby chic fall decor that involves pumpkin shall we ? Let’s make embroidery hoop pumpkin together
Supplies list needed
- pumpkin
- embroidery hoop
- doily
- some picks
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
This little fella I made with my daughter last year was our inspiration. Our goal was to create patriotic pumpkin and since our roots are in Poland white and red was it. Growing up in Europe mountain ash bushes are always part of fall decor. Don’t see those bushes here but if I find a pick in the stores I always grab to decorate with
So this is how this pumpkin came along .. Couple of doilies that we made lots and lots of Mountain ash and we have ourselves polish patriotic pumpkin that with a small detail of blue can be transformed to super elegant American patriotic pumpkin too

I had so much fun that i put some embroidery hoop to use to make me a pumpkin. Used a yard stick as stem and couple of picks that I had in my box and my fun pumpkin was ready
