Easy Paper Towel Roll Sunflower DIY | Rustic Recycled Fall Decor
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I never throw away a paper towel roll without wondering what it could become. One of my favorite things about crafting is turning everyday items into something beautiful, and this rustic sunflower is still one of my favorite recycled projects.
With just a couple of paper towel rolls, a little paint, and some brown paper, you can create a sunflower that’s perfect for late summer and fall decorating. It’s inexpensive, beginner-friendly, and proof that you don’t need fancy supplies to make something special.

Let’s make brown paper and paper towel roll sunflower. Fall diy
ok all is together and now it is time to put all into use and make a sunflower. Can you see it already ?

- time to cut your brown paper to around 1 inch wide strips in random lengths

- fold your paper and hot glue it to your base that in my case is jar lid.. but you can use a cardboard. We are in the process of creating flower heart. I so love paper crafting

- time to prep our sunflower petals so that means it is time to paint really well our paper towel tube or tubes yellow. I like to have that orange hue to my yellow so I mixed that with a bit red

- paper towel tube is dry so it is time to cut an inch wide strips . These are going to be our petals

- grab around 5 inches wide piece of brown paper and create a fringe that will nicely close off our heart of paper sunflower
