Rustic Easter Egg Wall Decor

If you follow me for some time you know I like to decorate on the budget. Love to use items that I have around the house. Today project is not any better. Yes it was inspired by Spring Easter season but as it was completed I am really considering to keep it all year round. Are you ready to have fun with me and create budget friendly home decor? Get your cardboard ready and lets make fun yet elegant Spring wall decor craft or mantel decor that you may like me like to keep all year round.

Items needed to create our budget friendly wall decor

cardboard box
twine or yarn
embellishments of your choice ( eggs, moss, flowers etc)

As all ingredients are gathered so it is time to go to work to create our Easter Spring home decor diy all on the budget

As you can see I cut out flaps from my box that I like to connect together to make my wall decor. Hot glue is really helpful in that process . Make sure to overlap your cardboard a bit so connection is secure.

Are you ready to decorate on the budget for spring or Easter? Get your cardboard and some rope and lets create beautiful wall or mantel accent.

Sketch 2 ovals on your cardboard and begin cutting them out . As you can see my goal was to create a bit of the interest to my shape by simply making it uneven.

wrap your oval template with twine or yarn. There is no need to use lots of hot glue to secure your each wrap. You can take care of that later

When you are satisfied with the way your oval look you can now secure your ends with hot glue and tuck them under

so now our base is done and it is time to decorate and let me tell you there are sooo many ways you can decorate out oval or if you like to call our egg.
