How to make easy butterfly out of drop cloth
Let the fun begin ! to make a butterfly you will need to create circle … I decided to use my plates to outline all. I intentionally decided to use 2 different sizes for some variation. Cut them all out
You could continue with plain drop cloth but I decided to add some color with napkins that I have plenty of in my stash .
Make sure to check my blog post HERE to see all tips and tricks of decoupage on a fabric
All is done so now we can work on butterfly. I decided to decoupage bigger circle entirely but little one I just added some details
As you can see I just cut pieces of napkin and decoupaged them on the sides after I folded my circle in half
Grab your needle and thread and start your running stitch starting at the open side as it is shown below
Both folded circles are threaded so now we can connect them loosely. Pull just enough your drop-cloth to have nice butterfly body length
Time to string some beads for our butterfly body on some floral wire and create some antena. You could use stick too if you don’t have a wooden beads on a hand
