How to make Peas in a Pod Spring Decor DIY
Spring is coming that is a fact … it is coming slowly this year but it is coming so it is time to start to think Spring Decor. I usually like to start with my tiered trays and squeeze a tiny surprises here and there. Don’t you like to make tiered tray mini spring accessories? I have plenty little carrots that I made so it is almost time to add another veggies to my decor. How about making peas in a pod? Let’s attempt burlap spring craft ! We may even squeeze carrot or 2 made out of pines cones! Are you ready to have fun?
Supplies needed to compete peas in a pod project
Let’s begin to have fun and make those peas in pods
The only burlap I had was brown so I decided to mix some paint and color it myself. Didn’t have dye which would of being easy to do . Painting it was the only option I had. Obviously using a green burlap would be easy but not all of us can find it in our local craft stores. If you follow me for some time you know nothing will stop me when crafting juices are flowing
As I had my paint out it will be only appropriate to give my various sizes wooden beads a “green bath”. My goal was to just add a delicate hue of green to them. Dont you think they will make awesome peas in a pod?
How to make a pod for our peas
- fold 4 inch burlap in half
- fold each half again
- hot glue each half
- hot glue both ends of pod

My burlap spring craft is looking so real when my wooden beads are placed. I decided to use couple big ones in the middle out of bunch I colored and gradually fill my burlap pod till its edges

I had so much fun so I decided to turn my small pine cones into carrots with a bit of orange paint I had.
Painting pine cones was a breeze! Burlap stripes made super cute topper for my carrots
What a fun project to make !! I cant wait to accessorize my Tiered tray soon
I am super puzzled now because my veggies look awesome in the bowl too! Time will tell what is going to happen
