Folded Paper Heart
There are so many things you can make out of paper! Paper crafting is so much fun! I remember like it was yesterday my crafting sessions with my Mom growing up. We didn’t have craft stores so we crafted with what we had. Paper crafting was our favorite material to use. Today I like to show you how to make super simple hearts out of paper. They are so easy to make. Folded hearts make perfect ornaments, party decorations, Valentines day paper diy garlands or mini flowers. Are you ready to make some folded paper hearts with me ? Very easy origami heart coming up!
Supplies needed to create paper heart
- paper of your choice ( I used copy paper)
- tacky glue or school glue
- scissors
How to make folded heart
I am going to use copy paper for this project to show you that you can make those hearts out of any paper even a copy paper and make them look awesome, super festive
Copy paper in a size A4 is perfect size. Fold your paper in half lengthwise and round off two edges
Dont laugh at my cut .. I just wanted to use my decorative edge scissors just to see how it will come out . Got to agree it looks like mice chewed it ..lol
Start accordion folding from the bottom. I like to use a smaller folds since all will much nicer at the end .
When all is folded, run glue along one edge .. one plead …Fold in half and seal edges.
Voila! You have a heart. Very easy origami heart.
You can now make more, punch holes in them and create a garland. Or simply fold it back up, stick in in an envelope, and send it to someone you love or you can make a garden of hearts . Perfect Valentines day paper diy
