Easy Chunky Yarn Crotchet Heart DIY

I am so excited to share that project with you! Winter is my time to get my yarn out and have fun. Today I like to re-cap with you my favorite Chunky yarn Heart that I always make as a gift and of course have plenty around the house all year round. Do you know how to crochet? I am not the best at it but love to try new techniques. My promise to you is that this yarn heart is super easy and will not require lots of skills. Chunky yarn projects are super easy and they make awesome gifts for Valentines Day. Are you ready for easy crochet Valentines day heart diy?

• “>chunky ( bulky ) yarn
• “>ribbon ( optional )

Let’s begin making our super easy Chunky Yarn Heart

I am not an expert of any sort .. My Mom was awesome and passed on me her knowledge. I wasn’t too big on abbreviation for each stitch but will try my best to show it all to you. I am going also add a VIDEO from my Facebook Page that recaps whole process.

• make a chain of 6

• loop a chain and form a circle

---

• single crochet all around circle

---

---

• double crochet ( 2 to 3rows depending how big you like your heart)

• close up your heart in the middle with single stitch to create heart bump

---

---

---

• work on each heart bump with single crochet stiches

When you are satisfied with size of your heart fill in with poly fill to have that nice 3D look. I decided to embellish my heart with a simple satin bow
