Felt Heart Rose DIY
Here are go again with Valentines Decor. Just couldn’t resist this project. If you follow me for some time you know I love neutrals but this red felt was speaking to me so it was time to create and let me tell you I couldn’t be happy with outcome! As I was looking around my craft area I noticed Dollar Tree tinsel hearts so I decided to put them into use. Cant wait to start to make upscale Dollar Tree Valentine diy with you !Are you ready to have fun with me in this super easy felt Valentine Day project? We will for sure make some flower too! Things needed to complete felt heart rose project
- red felt
- heart shaped form ( you can use cardboard too)
- “>hot glue gun and glue sticks
Let’s begin
I just happen to have small Dollar Tree heart that i decided to use. If you don’t have one of those don’t worry… use cardboard . That will work too
Just because the heart I had was also with their own decoration tinsel ribbon I decided to remove it
It is actually a pretty fast process. All those Dollar Tree heart are simply only wrapped with it without any glue
All is removed so it is time to put a plan of action to use. I like to turn that heart into flower like composition so I need a stem. My floral wire that I always have on head was perfect
All I did was fold me piece of wire in half and twist at the top of my heart form. If you don’t have any wire at home I would say little delicate twig would do its job.
Couple strips of felt around 2 inch wide should be enough for this project .
My goal was to plead and attach strip by strip to my heart form all around leaving tails loose as you can see on the picture below.
As you go closer to the center of the heart with you layers it is time to make a center. In this case center will be a rose . Don’t you think it is easy felt craft?

My rose heart looks good alone but I had an idea that I wanted to try . On my last trip to Home Goods couple of days ago I found brown rustic frame that was missing a back . In my mind it was perfect for my project. Look at that! I so love it
