Pear Custard Pie
I just had 2 super ripe pears in my basket that no one wanted so I decided to bake them. Love cooking with leftovers. Let’s make super easy pear custard pie! It is a delicious cake which combines sweet juicy pears with creamy custard. This dessert reminds me of a cake my Mom used to bake with leftovers pears or even apples. Perfect afternoon dessert or as it was in our house weekend coffee assistant that you can serve with ice cream too. Let’s make delicious pear dessert
Ingredients needed
– 3 to 4 pears or 2 cans of sliced pears
-¼ cup of melted unsalted butter
– 3 eggs,
– ¾ cup of milk,
-¼ teaspoon of kosher salt,
-⅓ cup of granulated sugar,
-⅓ cup of all-purpose flour,
– 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract

Even though my recipe calls for at least 3 pears i have only 2 on the hand that I will work with today. Trust me …it will still come out good
Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Lightly grease a 9-inch round pan with cooking spray and you could line with piece of baking parchment paper so it is easier to transform it later .
Making custard pie is sooo easy.Mix melted unsalted butter in a blender with 3 eggs, milk, kosher salt, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour and pure vanilla extract and blend until completely smooth.
Arrange the sliced pear in the bottom of the baking pan. Pour the custard over the pears in the baking pan
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown on top and firm to the touch. My coffee cake is smelling so good already
Pear dessert
Dust with powdered sugar and serve slices with strong coffee and even topped with some vanilla ice cream
