How to make sea glass at home
Directions are super easy .. I can’t believe I didn’t try before
Grab you frying pan and heat up on the stove without oil for 5 min on medium heat .. almost like getting ready to make a steak …lol
When pan is hot add in a single layer your glass . As you can see I have a mix of it. Cover your pan, keep the heat on for another 10 min.
Make sure it is all covered in case one of the decide to jump
As your glass is heating up .. prep another dish with lots of ice and water . Turn your heat off and slip your hot glass into it . Make sure not to touch them yet .. They are super HOT
You will automatically hear all crackling in the dish …. So exciting ..
Make sure to let your glass cool before handling… I usually let it be for 10 min or so because i want my glass to crackle as much as it can. We are so close making our own sea glass now
My glass is crackled beautifully. All you need is a mullet to crash it without no problem.
What I usually do is wrap my glass in the paper towel and then hit it with mullet to prevent from shooting all around with a hit
