Elegant Cardboard Pumpkin
Well, here are go again … another pumpkin ..lol .. I just cant help it… I am addicted to pumpkins . As you know I grew up crafting with things at home. Cardboard was always available so here it is … We are going to make super easy elegant at least in my yes cardboard pumpkin. Just because I have so many napkins using them in this budget friendly fall projects will appropriate. Lets explore decoupaging on cardboard together in this budget friendly fall DIY. We may even make some coffee filter flowers for this fall centerpiece idea
Supplies needed to make our centerpiece pumpkin
- cardboard
- chalk paint
- napkins of your choice
- decorative trim
- coffee filters
Love cardboard crafting .. You don’t even need to work hard to hide it .. HERE is my cardboard heart I made recently. Little sweet accent.

Ok so we are on the mission here … My Amazon box was perfect for my needs. I decided as my Mom taught me to sketch first on the piece of paper a shape so in our case it is pumpkin and then trace it on cardboard
Decided to make mine bulky as always… Make sure that your sides of pumpkin are same since that will be easier in the next step. Fold your paper in half and sketch one side before tracing to your cardboard.
Ideally you will need at least 6 cardboard pumpkins for this project but more you have it looks more interesting .

As you most likely know before we begin to decoupage it is only right to paint our surface solid color ideally white to take advantage of napkin pattern to its full potential

decoupage your napkins on the one side of cardboard and fold it in half . Make sure to fasten each sides with hot glue
I like usually at this time iron my halves to disguise cardboard even more. When that is done make sure to add some nice trim to cover edge of cardboard
our cardboard pumpkin is almost done. Cant wait to put put our fall centerpiece idea togehter.
Installation is super easy from now .. glue each folded sides together as it is shown below
I like to alternate my pumpkin halves pieces to make it more interesting
