This one was not any different. I just had a glass vase that chipped. Yes I could of throw it away but when that happens I always switch gears and think what can I do with it .. how can I use it. My Mom taught me all that. Super grateful for that. As I was looking around i found a good amount of jute. I knew right away what to do with it. Let’s weave like my Mom taught me and cover that chip so vase can be useful again. Ok all is gathered and as you can see my chip is pretty big so I am on the mission to hide that

Let the fun begin!
Ok all is gathered together so it is time for work to begin . As you can see I started to hot glue my twine right to the left of my crack. My goal was to hide it well and of course make sure no one will get cut Just because my jute was on the thinner side I decided to attach a multiple of 3 all around my vase making sure that crack is covered well
My multiples of 3 are hot glued so it is time to begin jute braid. Start from one side and collect set of first 3 jute rope strings and begin weaving. Check picture below for my glass vase makeover

Don’t worry when all seemed to be loose. it is ok you do have a room to correct that. I like to adjust my rows every 3 completed ones with a small dab of hot glue on the ends.
