How to make French Country Wood Riser
Who doesn’t love wood risers .. Not me ! I love them! Love to incorporate them in the vignettes to accents or elevate some pieces and depending on a size use them in the table scapes to serve , elevate food too. Today I like to put couple things from Dollar Tree to use to create one of a kind raiser that I may actually incorporate into Spring table scapes. How about French country wood riser diy? Supplies needed to make wooden riser
- piece of wood.. I used egg shaped cutout from Dollar Tree
- wooden beads
- chalk paint
- hot glue and glue gun
- Elmers glue
- finials
- white and glue floral napkin

As you can see I have all my supplies together and I am ready to go. Wooden beads are priced really nice now on Amazon HERE but I had some orange wooden beads so I decided to use them in my project
If you follow me for some time you do know I am not good with lots of colors on a basics pieces so decided to spray them all to cover that bright orange. My goal wasn’t to paint it all solid .. but i wanted to cover them as much as I could with one spray.
My goal was to install my wooden beads all around my egg like shape wooden surface so to make that process super easy I love to make my wooden beads strung so all is nicely align. Little bit of wood and hot glue and my beads are installed beautifuly
How awesome my wooden bead trim looks on my tray.! Love it! Now it is time to move to details. French country in my eyes is light and distressed. Crackle finish will be perfect! Grab your Elmers school glue and lets go to work and make some details

Love this project we made in a club so much ! Always loved blue and white combo! As you can see one dinner size napkin was used on my project so I was left with only leftovers.
My finials will be serving me as legs so I decided to use a bits and pieces of it here and there. Love to work with forgiving napkins!

Absolutely love how my french country wooden raiser is looking already. To protect all and to be able to put food on it I decided to use clear wax with some gold gilding wax on the beads.
