How to Make Easy Burlap Rose Tutorial
You know I love to make flowers out of different materials so today I like to make a rose out of burlap or any fabric you have. You are not going to believe how easy is to make one! Who is ready for easy rose tutorial? I know I am
Let’s gather our supplies
- burlap or any fabric you have
- mod podge
- hot glue
- scissors
Let’s make super easy burlap rose !
I know you what you must be thinking right now .. This burlap rose looks so hard to make.. it really is not. You can make one in less then 10 min
As I mentioned before you can use any fabric to make one .. you can even use a jeans. There is only one trick to this flower before all starts. To make sure that you can mold your burlap or any fabric rose you need to stiffen it a bit with Mod Podge.
Before we begin to work with fabric or burlap to make a rose make sure to make a template. Draw half circles and connect them together. They really don’t have to be equal . See picture below or make sure to watch VIDEO at the end as I was making rose
transfer your template on your burlap and cut all out
To make your rose you will need to have 3 pieces
Steps to cut your burlap template . Make sure to watch video below
- grab first burlap flower and make a cut to the center and cut one petal in half
- grab second flower and cut one petal out completely and cut one next to it in half
- grab your third flower and cut 2 petals completely out and next one in half
Hot glue each other to create scoops
As you can see I have 3 scoops but now it is time to add some details to your full and double petal cutouts . Those pieces will make your rose center. Add little profile to each and hot glue its ends together
Layer all them into a bigger scoop you prepped and hot glue them together. Don’t forget to tweak petals a bit to form nice burlap Rose
