How to Fold Book Page Snowman DIY
Book pages are for sure my favorite material to craft with. Today I thought it would be nice to fold together some book pages into a snowman . Yup fold … no cutting needed for sure. Who is ready for some fun easy to make winter Christmas craft home decor. It is so easy you can do it with kids. Love winter paper crafting! Book page snowman diy here we go
Supplies needed to make snowman
- book with at least 350 pages
- styrofoam or any small ornament you have
- mini hat
- hot glue
- ribbon or any fabric you like to use
Love folding book pages .. I have fold so many already .. HERE is my way to make a pumpkin . Super cute ! Always have a hard time to put it away till next fall
How to fold your book pages into standing snowman
My goal was to create a snowman that will be free standing as I did with my some of my book page witches SEE THAT POST HERE
Folds are super easy ..
- fold a page from the top to its core (PIC1)
- fold same page from the bottom to its edge we made in the previous step (PIC2)

As you go around book you will see all those folded pages create nice round piece as you can see below
Now it is time to create our snowman head and give him some character … You could for this step use a styrofoam ball or any big wooden bead. I was lucky to have some wooden ornaments that were perfect size for my book page snowman body.
My crafting stash is super extended and I always have things. I was super lucky to find some scarecrow hats I got at Dollar Tree
Because my ornament had that little bump on the top I decided to modify a hat I had on hand. It was super easy .. removed rim, hot glued top to my ornament and then replaced its rim on top of my wooden ornament. All steps are shown below
Painted all black embellished with some satin ribbon and painted my snowman face in a way i like … no carrot nose ..lol Just couldn’t see that in my version
little bow right at my snowman neck and I think I was done with my project
