Today I like to share with you our favorite recipe for Pomegranate Mojito that I love to enjoy around holidays
Winter Pomegranate Mojito
This Winter Pomegranate Mojito blends the bright, tart flavor of pomegranate with refreshing mint for a seasonal twist on the classic mojito. Perfect for cozy winter evenings or festive gatherings!
Ingredients
1 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup soda water (or sparkling water)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
2 tablespoons simple syrup (or to taste)See recipe below
8-10 fresh mint leaves
Ice cubes
Garnish
Pomegranate seeds
Fresh mint sprigs
Lime slices
Simple sirup is available at the stores to purchase but you can make your own too .. See my recipe below
How to make simple sirup
- 1 cup water, preferably filtered
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Heat up water but don’t boil, turn heat off and add sugar. Mix well till sugar is diluted. Store in glass container for up to 1 week
How to put together Pomegranate Mojito
- Grab your mint leaves and press them in a glass with lime juice to release that mint flavor
- add your pomegranate juice to your mint mixture and stir well
- Fill 2 glasses with ice cubes and and pour mixture between 2 glasses evently
- top your glass with sparkling water or water and stir gently
Garnish:
Add a few pomegranate seeds, a sprig of mint, and a lime slice to each glass for a festive touch.
This Winter Pomegranate Mojito is a delightful non-alcoholic drink (or add a splash of white rum for an adult version).
