Easy Book Page Rose DIY – Beautiful Paper Flower From Old Pages
There is just something about old book pages that makes the prettiest flowers. 🤍
This easy book page rose is one of those projects that looks much more complicated than it really is. Once you start shaping the paper and opening the petals, every rose turns out a little different — and I think that is exactly what makes them so beautiful. Are you ready for easy book page rose tutorial?
I love them left natural, gathered into a bouquet, tucked into a gift bag, or added to a wrapped present. You can also add a little color to the edges if you want a completely different look.
You already know how much I love turning simple things into something completely unexpected, and these two flowers are a perfect example.
With just a few folds, cuts and little adjustments, an ordinary book page can become a beautiful paper rose — or, with a slightly different technique, a completely different lotus flower.
And the best part? Neither one needs to be perfect. In fact, I think all those little uneven folds and curled edges are exactly what give them their charm. Not much is needed to make one .. just some book pages and hot glue gun

Easy Book Page Rose Tutorial
This little rose has quickly become one of my favorite book-page projects.
You can leave the pages natural, lightly distress the edges, add a little color, or make several and gather them into a bouquet.
They are also beautiful used as:
- gift toppers
- gift bag embellishments
- wreath decorations
- bowl fillers
- little vintage-style floral arrangements

Turn It Into a Book Page Lotus Flower
And this is where it gets fun.
By changing the way the paper is shaped and opened, that same love of folded book pages can give you an entirely different flower.
The lotus has a flatter, more open shape and looks beautiful sitting on top of books, trays, boxes or mixed into your vintage decor.

So Which One Would You Make?
I honestly don’t know if I could choose between them.
The rose feels soft and romantic, while the lotus has that beautiful open sculptural look.
And once you start playing with old book pages, you begin seeing flowers everywhere. 🤍
Tell me — are you making the rose or the lotus first?
