Supplies needed
- construction paper or brown paper
- napkin to decoupage
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Mod Podge
- skewer or metal wire
Making Brown paper umbrella
In order to make umbrella you need to start with circle .. so dinner plate traced on your brown paper will make nice size umbrella

My napkin is decoupaged. How beautiful my brown paper looks now .. can you agree ? Fold your decoupaged circle of brown paper 4 times. Make sure to reinforce each fold nicely because you will need it later.

When you fold to the point that you cant fold no more it is time to open all up and reinforce your fold like it is in accordion fold . My diy paper umbrella is forming beautifully. I just love brown paper crafts
Magic time ! Open all up and you will see umbrella . How cool is that ! In order to keep its shape you need to stuff it up . You could use foam or like me some paper towels. Secure all inside and lets create umbrella handle . You could use wire hanger for it or like me skewer that end with some wire wrapped in jute. Make sure to poke your base so you will have a nice detail at the top
Fill with your favorite flowers that you made or use picks
