Supplies needed to make Jute Angel
- Jute rope
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- embellishments .. 2 hearts was my choice
How to make Christmas keepsake jute angel
All supplies are together so now it is time to make one of my favorite angels ever! It brings so many childhood memories
Directions are super easy ! Its all in making a tassels
I like to use at least 5 inch cardboard to thread twine on it .. It is hard to say how much of it because it is all in a size of your jute. I used thinnest so I had at least 25 rounds
Remove your jute gatherings from cardboard and tie it in the middle
Now it is time to make a halo .. There are so many ways of making one but I like to use same twine and wrap around metal wire .
Installation is super easy .. just wrap your wire around and hide inside twine groupings
You know I love me some gold now so decided to simply rub and buff it all over to add some color. In my eyes gold makes things look so much better
so love to DIY Christmas Ornaments
Criss cross your loops and tie it all together in a criss cross fashion too to make sure all is straight. Can you see angel already made out of jute ?
To hide our tidings grab your hot glue and hot glue your embellishments to the front and back
and Just like that our jute angel craft is done. Love all Rustic Christmas crafts. Doesn’t it look super cool? Perfect homemade holiday keepsake that you can attach to your gifts as you wrap too
We like to keep them past Christmas as a door hangers all over the house
