Brownie Truffles
After making a whole bunch of different truffles the past few months ranging from lemon truffles to red velvet truffles using boxed cake mix, I suddenly had the brilliant idea to use boxed brownie mix instead. The result was yummy brownie truffles rolled in chocolate!
Ingredients
- 1 box of brownie mix (cooked according to the instructions on the box)*
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 16 ounces chocolate chip morsels
Instructions
- Time to blend cooked and cooled brownies until it becomes crumbs. Add in cream cheese and process again until they are fully combined.
All is nicely mixing
Time to scrape all my brownie mix and form a balls. I like to measure 1 teaspoon. Place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used up
Toppings are optional but we love our walnuts

How should I decorate these truffles?
I like to just drizzle chocolate on top to help cover any imperfections but you could also add sprinkles to the top before the chocolate has melted.
Can I freeze the truffles?
Yes, freezing the truffles until you are ready to serve them works great.
What should I do if my truffle filling isn’t forming together?
If your truffles filling (brownies and cream cheese) is loose and isn’t forming into balls, try adding a bit more cream cheese and blending again. That helps them form together more.
Those are another instant cookies that I strongly suggest to make . Here are details
Champagne cake balls are also must to make. Check HERE all details
