Book Page Easy Butterfly

Once your book page butterflies are complete, you can display them in a variety of ways. Arrange them on a canvas or piece of cardboard and frame them for wall art, or attach them to string and hang them as a mobile.
Supplies needed
- book page
- scissors
- napkin to decoupage ( optional)
How to fold easy Book Page Butterfly
To fold perfect butterfly you need to start from the square so I like to fold one corner of my book page to its side and cut . It is the easiest way to find a square out of rectangle
Make sure to watch VIDEO at the end of this post to see it how I made it
Fold your square on an angle and then on one side in half as it shown below
As you can see fold in half our square created a little dome. Grab the side of it as you can see below and tuck triangle in .. repeat that on both sides.
Lay it flat and fold its corners to the top as you can see below
turn it over and grab original tip of triangle and fold it a bit over as it shows below and crease it to secure fold.
you can see that tiny tip securing all together. Fold both sides in half to create that 3D look to your book page butterfly
decoupage pieces of napkins before you start to fold to add even more interest . Love to make them for all different season to decorate my project or add a tiny whimsical detail in my home decor.
