Creamy Tuscan Garlic Sauce with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Spinach
This creamy Tuscan garlic sauce is one of those quick, cozy recipes you make when life gets busy but you still want something really good for dinner. Made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, spinach, and a rich cream base, it comes together fast and is perfect served over pasta, chicken, or even seafood.
Love to make one pot dinners lately so let me share one of my favorite ideas with you. Today I will be making creamy garlic sauce Tuscany style with sun dried tomatoes. It is the most delicious sauces that I have ever made! You can have it just over the pasta like that or add your favorite protein too!
What Is Tuscan Garlic Sauce?
This creamy Tuscan garlic sauce is a rich, flavorful sauce made with garlic, cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. It’s commonly served over pasta or chicken for an easy, comforting meal.


I always have sun-dried tomatoes in my house! Love to add them to lots of my meals!
- Add Protein: If you want to add protein to your sauce, throw in shredded chicken, Italian sausage, shrimp, scallops, or steak!
- Add Some Heat: To give your creamy Tuscan garlic sauce a little warmth, sprinkle in red pepper flakes or add a dash of smoked paprika.
- Make it Lighter: Instead of heavy cream, you can also use half and half. You’ll end up with a little bit lighter sauce.
- Serve With: Pasta, rice, potatoes, roasted veggies. It works with everything
Ingredients
1 onion sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 4 cloves minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup spinach, chopped
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained
How to make easy creamy garlic sauce Tuscany style
Heat up your cast iron pan with bit of olive oil and add your sliced onions and garlic . Saute for a minute and add your sun-dried tomatoes

Add the spinach and sundried tomatoes and let it simmer until the spinach starts to wilt




Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese to a medium saucepan. Whisk over medium-high heat until it starts to thicken.



Serve over pasta, your favorite poultry, or seafood OR serve over plain pasta with some mozzarella cheese and more parmesan sprinkled
