How to make 3D paper Easter craft
Just because I am using a plastic egg that is usually filled with candy I need to make sure that it will not open for me so I decided to use some hot glue to make sure it is closed.
Prep your paper and begin to glue from the top of the egg. Just because I love me some 3D I decided to smooch them a bit to have them look more interesting.
As I was adding my cut out pieces of paper I decided to add even some more of interest. As you can see I was trying to use both shapes in my Easter egg diy. Bigger pieces will go over when I glue egg together with tiny flowers on the white side inside.
I so love how all is playing out. even with my plastic egg not being painted. Love how all those patterns and cut out shapes fall together into fun texture.
Check my egg right now ! How cool that looks. Even though there is so much happening I can still see details. Cant wait to decorate with this my Easter tiered tray and even hand some as ornaments on the branches
How to make harmonica 3 D paper egg- another paper Easter Craft
That egg came together so fast so I decided to make one more just because I had soo much paper still left. This time I wanted my egg to be a bit bigger and have a different pattern. Still wanted to be 3D.
I decided to make a bigger outline of egg I just made on the piece of paper to make sure. Each egg is around 6 inches tall. Cant wait to see how this 3D Easter egg will look
To make this egg you need to have 8 pieces. You could cut them all out of the same material but I decided to use white too.
3D easter egg
I have 4 colorful pieces and 4 white but that is up to you what your color palette will be. What you have available I would say to use .
My plan was to alternate my paper eggs. Directions are pretty easy .. fold each egg in half and glue them together as it shows in the pictures. Easter Ornament Diy
Another Easter ornament is almost done ..we just need to decorate with a bow I think. How about Simple Double bow?
How to make simple Double Bow
This bow is super easy and my Mom and I called it simple bow but as I got to meet lots of people out there I noticed my friend L’Briska from My Eclectic Treasures calls it Awareness bow.
This bow was made by my Mom a lot . We didnt have those nice puffy ribbons when I was growing up so we were adding layeres to make it look fuller. Steps to make DOUBLE SIMPLE BOW
- Pick 2 different ribbons and piece of twine
- fold both into a loop
- place twine in the middle as shown on pic 3
- tie twine and you are done
- fluff your bow a bit
Finish your bow tails by just simply folding it together and cutting just an end on the angle
How do you like those Easter ornament diy ?
Let’s check out how they look on some pictures below/
I absolutely love how they look ! Cant decide if I like that texture or paper more on my eggs
super excited to put them into decor in my house. It seams they all work with anything I have. You know I love plain things with pop of color and I think i got my pop . What do you think ?
