Vintage Rose Egg DIY
Super happy to share this project with you all! You know I love details but delicate ones most of a time. You know I love crafting on the the budget so why not bring all this together like my MOm taught me for this cute Vintage like Easter DIY . Let’s have fun making roses out of paper towels. Yup out of paper towels! We love them! Let’s make Vintage Rose Egg diy shall we ? Perfect paper easter crafting!
Supplies needed
- paper towel . I used Viva since it is super soft
- plastic egg
- hot glue and glue sticks
- pearl ribbon
- raffia
Let’s make Easter Rose Egg!
I have made so many projects with simple flowers for each season but have not made one for Spring Easter yet .. so it was only time since that would come together. This project is super easy and I know all of you have all on hand to make it
My goal was to make simple roses. Make sure to check all details how to make one HERE I always love to make flowers out of different materials so this time I decided to make them out of paper towels.
You can make them out of circle , oval , rectangle or square and that is why I love them! Use what you have around to make roses. I used to make them out of toilet paper with my Mom growing up.
How to make easy paper towel rose
Can’t tell you how many roses you need .. It all depends how big your Easter Spring egg you want. As you can see I made them all different sizes. Each paper towel have sections so I folded each section to 2 or 3 parts to have different sizes roses.
Just because I had plastic egg I decided to use it as my template but if you don’t have one its ok too. Shape your brown paper into egg shape and you are good to go. Perfect paper Easter crafting.
I decided to start to hot glue my roses at the bottom of wider portion of my plastic egg and keep on adding up with smaller paper towel roses to keep its egg shape.
Can you believe how big my egg is now?All those paper towel roses are making it look much bigger. Can you see top of my egg has smaller roses.
I had so much fun making that Easter Egg that decided to make even bigger egg. Folded section on paper towel glued to the bottom of plastic egg extended all beautifully and make me a solid flat bottom
Let’s make stand for our Easter Rose Egg diy
There are so many ways you can go around creating a base for your project. I chose to use our empty jewelry box for one. All i did was to paint it white.
My original thought was to keep it plain and just dress it up with some moss but then I spotted some flowers I made out of molds that were leftover so decided to hot glue them to its sides. You know I love some details.Little bit of dark wax to accent some details after all is being painted
As with everything a bit of moss and some pearls to bring that Vintage feel to my Rose Easter egg diy and I am all done!
