Vintage Folded Book Pages Pumpkin
You are not going to believe how easy is this pumpkin to make. It was one of my all time favorite to make with my Mom growing up. We didn’t have craft stores so we used what we had around the house. That means book pages, magazines and whatever Mother Nature left us on the ground. Make sure to check my blog to learn how to fold book pages. This time around we will fold our book pages into pumpkin a different way.. What do you think about this pumpkin below? Another fun fall decor pumpkin diy. I absolutely love making pumpkins.
Supplies needed to make book page pumpkin
- book with around 40 pages
- acrylic paint diluted with water in a spray bottle
- scissors
- hot glue and glue sticks
Let’s make folded book page pumpkin!
Supplies are gathered so it is time to go to work. Book that I had on hand was 6×8 so it was a bit too big to what I had in mind so I took my scissors and cut it in half preserving its core
Divide your book pages into 7 parts and begin to fold each group into its core making sure all is attached. I like to add a bit of hot glue right at the core and hold my fold till hot glue cools off
How to fold book pages to make pumpkin
Folds don’t take long time to make. Look how cool they look from the top! That is what I love about them. Hope all is clear how to fold book pages into fall decor

Just like that one part of a pumpkin is made! Time to fold another half of our book to make our pumpkin. Look how awesome our fall pumpkin decor diy is coming together. All you need to do is to hot glue its core together to form nice circle.
Just because I wanted my pumpkin to have some hues of orange I decided to mix a bit of my orange paint with water into small bottle with spray nozzle. My goal was just to bring some vintage look to it by simply spraying my edges. Notice that I intentionally did not spray even.
To get awesome feel to it make sure to dry in between sprays to get that nice deep natural look. I decided to use stick from my yard as my pumpkin stem.

Just to bring some more elegance to my fall diy I decided to bring some satin ribbon.
My book page pumpkin looks already so pretty but why not decorate with some book page roses to top all off.
