- embroidery hoop
- paper towels rolls
- hot glue and glue sticks
- coffee filter or tissue paper
How to make easy embroidery hoop paper towel roll owl
Love this project so much. It is so much fun to make and at the same time super easy. Perfect project to make with kids. I have made so many of those growing up and displayed them on my wall.
Directions are super easy. Gather your embroidery hoop Cut your paper towel roll into strips a bit smaller than the width of your embroidery hoop
There is so many ways to go around it .. You can go completely randomly but I always try to mirror sides. To achieve that it is easier to start in a middle. As you can see below I got my nose and some middle portion of the body
Let’s make some spiky ears for our wol and of course some wings. For this i like to layer my strips by simply cutting them open and installing on top of each other
Making paper towels ears spikey is easy … just crease them on. Love paper crafting!
Rolled strips make awesome base for my embroidery hoop owl. Didn’t have a googly eyes so I used my permanent marker to make my own. If you like to bring some color to your owl make sure to use a color backing. My embroidery hoop was just perfect to fit coffee filter. My embroidery hoop owl is taking its shape really nice. Perfect fall wall decor idea for any room
