Supplies needed to make busted canvas
- framed canvas of any size
- cardboard or construction paper for backing
- paint
- scissors
- exacto knife or any kind of blade
- embellishments or your choice
Step by step on how to created busted canvas tutorial
Super excited to show you my way of creating busted canvas easy
I always like to start to make busted canvas from its back. That means I will decoupage some napkins on the back of my piece. You could simply paint your favorite color . It is all optional
Just because I like to create a wintery scene for Christmas in July crafting on my page I decided to to use simple snowflake napkin.

Ok now front of my canvas is painted so its time to make some fun moves . Of course you can paint any color you like. I was working on winter wonderland with snowman so those were my colors
grab your e-xacto knife or any blade and make long cuts on the angle pointing to the center of your canvas. I usually make 6 cuts as you can see below but it is all up to you how many you want to make to showcase your piece inside

How cool this busted canvas look .. As you can see my decoupaged napkin is peeking and showing little detail within the cuts
