Lazy Mama Puff Pastry (No Fold, No Fuss!)
If the words “puff pastry” make you think of endless folding and chilling and flour everywhere — don’t worry, this isn’t that. This is the Lazy Mama version: no laminating, no drama, just buttery, flaky goodness with way less effort. Perfect for sweet or savory treats, and still fancy enough to impress your guests (even if they’re just the dogs circling the oven 😂) Let’s make easy butter puff pastry

Ingridients to make Homemade Puffy Pastry
- 2 1/2 cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (226g) frozen unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup (160ml) ice water
- Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar (helps tenderness)
👩🍳 Instructions to make Home made puff pastry
- Grate Frozen Butter:
Use a box grater to shred frozen butter into a bowl of flour + salt. Toss gently so butter is coated. - Add Ice Water:
Drizzle in water slowly, mixing with a fork. Stop once a shaggy dough forms. Don’t overmix!

- Pat & Chill:
Gently press into a disc (or rectangle), wrap, and chill for at least 1 hour — or overnight for best results. - Roll & Use:
Roll out on a floured surface. That’s it! No folds, no stress. Cut, fill, bake, enjoy. 💛

💡 Tips:
- Use for tarts, quiches, rustic galettes, hand pies, or pinwheels.
- Works beautifully with sweet or savory fillings.
- Freeze extras wrapped tightly — thaws like a dream!
🍽️ Great For:
- Quiches & tarts
- Appetizers (cut in strips and top with cheese/herbs)
- Rustic fruit galettes
- Mini pies or hand pies
