How to make easy Santa Clause Boots
If you follow me for some time you do know I love to craft out of nothing so this project is not any different. Since it is a holiday season it is time to have some fun. It is time to create some memories crafting. Today I would love to craft with item out of my recycling bin.. How about turning water bottle into some boots for Santa Clause. Perfect whimsical project that you can display your Holiday decor, turn them into ornaments or just use them for your gnome crafting projects. I am so grateful for my Mom that thought me some tricks here and there. She for sure taught me how to think outside the box. Are you ready to have fun with me in this creative process? Supplies needed to make a boot
- water bottle
- cardboard
- book pages
- ribbon in my case i used burlap
- fur or any embellishments you like
- hot glue and glue sticks
Let the fun begin! Let’s make Santa Clause or Gnome boot
Supplies are gathered and utility knife is sharp so it is time to cut water bottle. You like to cut bottle in a proportion of 30/70 where 30 is your toes area. This rule applies to any bottle that you are going to use to make that Christmas ornament
Cut long enough piece to fit both pieces on it and form your boot shape
In this step as you can see I applied Mod Podge all over and decoupaged my book pages on it but you can use paper towel or newspaper too. We dont want to show that it is water bottle Christmas craft.

My burlap ribbon was just perfect height too for that Easy Santa Clause boots diy. It is all about wrapping with the help of Mod Podge.
Little bit of fur and my project is starting to look like UGGS …lol. Gnome boots are looking sooo good!

I had so much fun with this project that within couple days I made another set but this time I turned that into Christmas ornament in the form or skates with some laces !! How stinking cute is that!
