I have made so many flowers out of them, made pumpkins, used them as texture for lots of projects but have never tried to make an Egg. It is spring so its time to try it . Supplies needed to make honeycomb coffee filter Easter Egg
- coffee filter
- hot glue or tacky glue
- embellishments

Grab your coffee filters ideally 15 -20 of them and lets have fun. I just happened to have wooden egg that I decided to use as my template but of course you can draw it yourself too.
Cut your template and you are good to go!
To make the egg shape, gather several honeycomb coffee filters and stack them on top of each other.
Let’s create honeycomb template for our egg
grab your folded in half coffee filter and do markings on the paper next to it .
That means we are going to glue folded coffee filter in 3 spots shown on pic 1
and new coffee filter in 2 spots .. see pict 2 below
Now it is time to add the finishing touches to your honeycomb Easter egg coffee filter craft
