Flower Box under $5 – DIY
This cute (and inexpensive!) basket is made with a handful of paint stir sticks found at Home Depot, a couple of blocks, and some staples. Use it as a decorative centerpiece, or as stylish storage on a shelf. No matter the use, you’ll be amazed by how quick and easy it is to assemble!
Things you need
- Paint Sticks – FREE or ( worse case scenario 0.99$ for a pack of 10)
- Wooden Blocks -scrap wood
- Stapler gun (or any stapler that opens up will do a work)
So let’s begin!
Staple your first 3 paint sticks to a wooden block side starting at the bottom. As you can see those sticks have indentations on one side so I was alternating them to have some interest. Staple other ends of sticks to another wood block to complete one side
Repeat the same procedure on the other 3 sides
and before you know it is ready !!! Easy right !
SO LET’S DECORATE OUR BOX !!
Stain or paint… that is a question !
PAINT IT IS !!!
I absolutely love that basket!! Let me know your opinion please
