How to make Dollar Tree Birdcage
Directions are super easy! I am so glad my lemon making attempt failed.
Time to go to work! Metal cutters will for sure help in this part of the project. Those football wreath forms are super tough. Don’t mind my rusty tool but it was the one that actually did awesome job. Try to cut as close as you can to last bar
All is cut so its time to put both football forms together. I decided to wrap some wire on the connection in the criss cross pattern to make sure all stays together.
Can you see birdcage yet? How cool is that. Just because my cuts were left sharp I decided to protect them with tiny wooden beads.
Time to take care of bottle cap. I am trying to stay within rustic feel to a farmhouse so little bit of crackle would be fun to have. If you never tried crackle make sure to check my post on the blog HERE
All my pieces are ready to have fun with. Just because I do love me some patterns especially MacKenzie Childs Inspired I went to work .
My goal was to bring some black and white details to the edge with black paint.
