Supplies needed to make Book Page Snowflake
- book pages 5
- hot glue and glue sticks
- scissors
Let’s make Quick and Easy Festive Book Page Snowflake
l grew up making handmade Christmas decoration .. those were the best times . Project below is so kid friendly craft idea to make with your family
You can use any paper to make this snowflake .. you can also use brown paper bags to make one. I have made both but today we pretend we don’t have brown paper bags and need to make a snowflake
To make one you will need a rectangle. You could use entire book page but i was looking to make a smaller one so I cut my pages in half .
Depending on the size and place you will decorate with your star that is how big is your rectangle
Grab your rectangle and fold them in words to create a tube as you can see below. Hot glue its ends and press down to have your tube flat
To make nice book page snowflake that will show your design make sure to have at least 10 flat tubes as you see below
We are a the point now in which you create your design .. I always like to spike one side to mimic a snowflake so I created pencil like edge .. See below
and now it is a fun part .. Add some details to a body of our flat tubes .. I like to add some kind of ovals that are kind of symetric . Dont worry if they are not perfect
Ok tubes are ready to work with.. Sandwich all of them with a stripe of hot glue in the middle
If you like to have your snowflakes hanging add a thread in between and secure all with next layer
to close all off add a stripe of hot glue to the last tube and attach to the first one to create a circle
