Cardboard Decoupage Easter Egg DIY
Super excited about this project! Made it with my friends of Facebook Live but I thought it was to cote of a project so I am making mark on my blog for easy Easter Egg DIY reference. Love this project even more because it is made out of cardboard. Don’t you just love good cardboard project? Finding those wooden cutouts at Dollar Tree seemed for me almost impossible so I was on the mission. Let me tell you adults can have fun with cardboard too. We can for sure make it look super cute and worthy to display in our homes. Just because I love to napkin decoupage and have always lots of them on hand it was time to put them to use. Love me some cardboard Easter diy. This one I made a while back in quarantine where my crafting supplies were almost none As my Mom always said use what you have… so HERE are my cardboard bunnies with some details
Supplies needed to make cardboard Easter egg
- cardboard
- craft sticks
- Easter bundle
- hot glue and glue sticks
- chalk paint
- wooden beads
- greens for embellishments
- good scissors
- crown
Let’s begin our Cardboard Easter diy
Love everything about this project! Not going to go to all details since I have a video that goes over details HERE. What I like to do is to go over other things.
Napkin that I used in that project was part of a napkin bundle that is gone now but here are others you can get on my website HERE
You can make any size that you like. It is of course depending on size of your cardboard or craft sticks you have on hand. They do awesome job camouflaging cardboard.
Make sure to check my supply list above where I listed my favorite scissors that cut sticks super easy and set of crowns that I always need to squeeze into my projects
Can you spot a cardboard there ? I can’t really. Those strung tiny wooden beads are doing awesome job! Stringing them on floral wire was such a help to have them be installed properly and evenly
Making those tissue paper roses was so much fun! Make sure to check all details HERE or below. When you use thin paper some twisting is required but that is all explained in a video
