How to Make Sphere Christmas Ornament
Here it goes again .. some paper crafting for Christmas that you may want to keep it out year round. Perfect little accent . Let’s make a sphere out of paper shall we? To make it even more interesting let’s decoupage some napkins on the plain paper. Not everyone has pretty stack paper laying around the house all the time. i do have for sure some different napkins around the house. This buffalo plaid one is really calling my name for some time. As we are at decoupaging let’s decoupage with saran wrap. No Mod Podge needed. Have you tried that ? not yet i got you! Let’s make paper sphere ornament diy!
Supplies needed to make sphere Christmas Ornament
- copy paper
- ” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>iron
- scissors
Learn how to decoupage with saran wrap
Super excited to share that decoupage technique with you. As always with any decoupage you need to remove ply’s from your napkin
- place your copy paper on it and cut its size on napkin
- place wax or parchment paper under copy paper . it is important step so you can seperate all easier
- cover copy paper with saran wrap. As you can see it is not important to cut exact size
- top all with napkin
- cover all with another sheet of wax or parchment paper
Time to finish all
Set your iron on medium high and let’s put all together. I love my mini craft iron for all my crafting needs. Make sure to go slowly with your iron over our “paper sandwich” Heat from Iron will melt saran wrap that is in between paper and napkin and act like Mod Podge is
Make sure that all is attached before peeling layers of wax paper. I like to remove first the one on the top and iron napkin one more time directly
Let all cool a bit so you can easily remove bottom portion of wax paper
Your saran wrap decoupage will be perfect without any wrinkles! Perfect paper crafting

How to make paper sphere ornament
- Cut your paper into 3 – 4 inch strips .
- close 2 strips as it shown below
- insert one circle into another as it shown below
Insert third strip open in between those two as it shown below and then close its ends . Make sure to watch video below and see how I exactly put it together
When all is connected begin rounding off each side of your circle. Tuck in around 1 inch under as it shows here
and your paper sphere Christmas ornament is done. How cool it looks! You could thread them and make a nice garland. They look awesome on your Christmas tree or in the dough bowl. Perfect paper sphere diy
