Potatoes are seasoned with garlic, herbs, butter, bacon, and parmesan, then baked on one sheet pan until crisp perfection. So easy to make
Ingredients for pan roasted potatoes
- potatoes of any kind will work , washed and sliced on the angle . I usually use 3- 4 big ones
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 large cloves of garlic finely chopped or minced or 1 tablespoon of dried garlic
- Salt and fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 teaspoon of red paprika
- 3/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
- 1/2 cup crispy bacon bits as an option
A fool-proof recipe! Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, roasted potatoes are a simple, easy side dish that goes with pretty much any meal! From roast chicken to a great steak! Feel free to get creative with seasonings: Add your favorite seasonings based on what’s in your spice cupboard or what herbs are growing in your garden!
Let’s make pan roasted potato slices
Pat dry your slices and coat them with your spice mix minus parmesan cheese
Heat up your deep frying pan add oil and drop your potatoes .. Don’t worry if you have few layers in your pan
Mix all well and cover with lid for 10 min so your sliced potatoes get cooked quick
Take your lid off and keep turning your potatoes with wooden spoon carefully .Your goal is to get some brown color on them. As you can see on the picture on the side .
It takes usually another 10 -15 min of cooking . It all depends on the thickness of your slices

If you don’t like parsley, you can use fresh chopped rosemary or thyme. Dried herbs would work just as well but go easy because they can overpower the flavor of the potatoes.

You can keep leftover roasted potatoes for 2 days in an airtight container in your fridge. Reheat in the oven, until heated through. You can cover the potatoes with foil to avoid drying up.
