Ingredients You’ll Need to make chocolate brownie bread :
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Optional: chocolate chips or chunks for extra gooey magic
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix melted butter with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until combined. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir just until no flour streaks remain.




Pour into your prepared loaf pan. Top with extra chocolate chips if you like. Bake for 35–45 minutes until the center is set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Ingredients
- For the Brownie Cake:
- • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- • 1 cup granulated sugar
- • 2 eggs
- • 1 tsp vanilla extract
- • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- • 1/4 tsp salt
- • 1/4 tsp baking powder
- For the Chocolate Glaze (aka The Avalanche):
- • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- • 1/4 cup milk
- • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 6–8” round cake pan or baking dish.
2. Make the Cake:
In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Pour into pan and smooth the top.
3. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter). Let cool.
4. Make the Glaze:
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in cocoa powder and milk until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla until glossy.
5. Pour glaze generously over cooled cake—or let your kids do it and prepare for full Avalanche Mode!
6. Let set for 10–15 minutes before slicing… if you can wait.

Baking Time for 6” Round Dish:
Bake at 350°F (175°C) Start checking at 28–32 minutes It’s done when: The edges look set A toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter)
Tip:
If you like gooey brownies, pull it out closer to 28 minutes. For firmer slices, go a bit longer.
Glaze for your chocolate bread
1. Simple Cocoa Glaze (no fancy ingredients):
Light, glossy, and sets beautifully on top!

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2–3 tbsp hot water or milk (or coffee for depth!)
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
Whisk all together until smooth. Pour over slightly warm brownie bread and let it drip over the sides.
2. Fudgy Cocoa Frosting (for a thicker layer):
Like a spreadable ganache!
Ingredients:
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk or cream
Pinch of salt ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Mix cocoa and melted butter first, then add powdered sugar and milk a bit at a time until you reach a creamy consistency. Spread it on top once the bread is cooled.
