I grew up in Poland, where we didn’t have big craft stores full of ribbons and seasonal signs. My mama and I would “shop the house” — using old clothes, scrap fabric, even curtains to create beautiful things. 🔧 Materials Needed to Make Denim:

Old denim jeans or scraps
Scissors or rotary cutter
Wire wreath form or repurposed hoop
Optional: jute twine, lace scraps, fabric glue, safety pins

🧶 Step-by-Step Instructions:

Cut denim into strips — about 6″–8″ long and 1″ wide .. i simply start with little cut and rip the rest
Tie strips around the wire form, double-knotting each one tightly

Alternate textures by mixing in lace or twine for extra flair

Fluff it up by scrunching and tugging the strips for volum
Optional: add a focal point — like a denim pocket, button cluster, or small sign
