How to Make Easy Yarn Bird
Do you love crafting with yarn like me? If you do you may like this project a lot. I have made so many project with different kind of yarn already. Some are documented here on the blog but some are on Facebook where I craft with my friends. Today I like to share a quick tutorial on how to make easy yarn bird that can also be an ornament or any bird house. Have you tried to make a yarn bird DIY yet? I promise it is super easy!.

Supplies needed to make a Yarn Bird
- YARN
Let’s begin to make our easy yarn BIRD DIY
I like to start with bundles or yarn around 10 inches long. I would say big enough to make a good size tassel.
There is no need to cut or tie your yarn groupings for this project to begin
I like to use in this step a lighter colored yarn with darker . One of them will be for sure a bird belly. Lay them on the top of each other evenly and tie in the middle
I chose for yellow yarn to be my bird bell so I flipped back one portion of darker color yarn as it is shown below and tie all together . We are forming now a portion of a tail
Place third color under right in the middle and fold lighter (in my case yellow single cluster under)
Pull back sides like you are ready to braid and tie all together
I can see my bird is forming beautifully. All i need is to Smooth all thread around nicely and form a tail
Forming tail is super easy .. it is like cutting a pom-pom but you can shape it in any way you like
My Chubby bird is completed with mini wooden bead
